Ray Berry

Chief Executive Officer

Ray possesses over 25 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management in both the hospital and payer environment. HBS is his third start-up company as a founding executive. In 2002, Ray created HBS with his vision of what defines a true revenue cycle consulting company. He believed that what healthcare providers needed went far beyond a traditional collection agency service. Therefore, Ray developed HBS as a denial management and transitional outsourcing company.

This innovative business model would transcend the simple service of recovering revenue and, instead, bring the healthcare provider and their staff the knowledge and skills that are so critical to “in-house” denial management. Prior to HBS, Ray became well known during his tenure as the State of Florida regional administrator of behavioral healthcare and remains active serving on various boards in the behavioral healthcare arena.


Purnima Khan

VP of Operations

Ms. Khan is a healthcare executive with over 25 years of revenue cycle management experience specializing in denials management and reduction, cash optimization, and systems implementation. She has successfully managed CBO staff for large, multi-specialty facilities directing revenue cycle-related processes including; billing and collections, coding, cash applications, A/R management, monthly productivity and reporting, and HIPAA Compliance. Ms. Khan has led to the development of quality and productivity initiatives to improve department efficiencies and workflow. Ms. Khan attended DePaul University and is a Certified Professional Coder (AAPC) and a Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (AAHAM).


Elizabeth Wildman-Evans, PHR

Human Resource Director

Elizabeth knows firsthand the challenges an organization encounters when navigating the expansive sea of employment and HR compliance. For over fifteen years, she has assisted business leaders in adopting human resource best practices across diverse industries.

Elizabeth acquired her Master’s in Business Administration to better equip her in speaking the language of C-suite leaders. Elizabeth conquered the challenge of obtaining her PHR credential. This human resource certification solidifies her knowledge of human resources and reflects her commitment to the profession.

Elizabeth’s diverse work experience includes supporting health care organizations such as post-acute rehabilitation facilities, assisted living facilities, and private nursing agencies. During her tenure as an HR professional, Elizabeth has saved organizations thousands of dollars by keeping them in compliance and helping them to avoid risk.

In her current role as Human Resource Director for Health Business Solutions, Elizabeth applies her years of experience to contribute to the organization’s success through strategic as well as functional HR practices.
